Covid-19 RISK ASSESSMENT AND RECOMMENDATIONS
We are very pleased to be able to meet in person once again for our events.
Although government restrictions have mostly been removed, everyone is still advised to stay safe. We are following government guidelines entitled "How to Stay Safe and Prevent the Spread" which were first published in March 2021, and updated on 31st August 2021.
With this in mind, do not attend if you feel unwell or have been instructed to self-isolate by the NHS.
Ideally, members, guests and helpers should be double vaccinated If not double vaccinated, take a lateral flow test shortly before coming and do not attend if the result is positive
Guests to provide contact details at the reception desk
Try to maintain a suitable (1 metre) distance from others when entering or leaving or moving around the Hall, and please do not congregate in the entrance hall
Use hand sanitisers on arrival and throughout, as appropriate
Optional wearing of a mask or face screen - please bring your own
The rooms will be ventilated
Tables and/or chairs will be suitably spaced Members and guests to remain in the main hall and at their respective places as much as possible, and not go into the Ensemble Room which is next to the Library
Toilets are, of course, provided as usual
This Risk Assessment has been prepared in accordance with current Government advice to maximise safety of everyone attending the Hall, and may be subject to amendment if requirements are revised.
