A Sojourn with the Guitar Linda Kelsall-Barnett

Dear Members and friends,

It would be great if you could come to my live recital for the Festival of Chichester at the Regis School of Music, 9th July.  I was hoping that all restrictions would have been lifted, but at least it will be able to go ahead with safeguards in place.  We are required to have social distancing, so numbers are restricted, and tickets must be booked in advance through Box Office Chichester.   Facemasks must be worn - the concert is in two halves, each about 35 minutes and there will be an interval of around 20 minutes with refreshments.  

I am really looking forward to playing to a live audience again - it seems an age ago now since this was a possibility.  I’ll be playing nineteenth century music on nineteenth century guitars in the first half and the second half wil be played on my 2021 Stephen Eden guitar - which will be the first live performance for this guitar!

The programme will include Forgotten by Catharina Pratten and Malagueña by Tarrega - both pieces familiar to several of my students!
